Dr. Elsabe is the founder and managing director of Test It LAB. With a PhD in Biotechnology and several patents in water treatment, she is a leader in the field. As a registered professional scientist and member of the Water Institute of South Africa, Dr. Elsabe is dedicated to improving water quality. She has led numerous water storage and reclamation projects, striving to make the world a better place, one liter at a time.

At home, Elsabe enjoys DIY projects and is continually working to improve her woodworking skills.

Francois has presented scientific papers on water quality and microbial diversity within drinking water distribution systems at both local and international conferences as part of his Master’s thesis.

He has developed a customized Water Sampling App to guide our customers through the sample collection procedure. Currently, he is working on a Water Quality Index for distribution systems to help water service providers maximize water treatment plant efficiency and improve overall water quality.

In his spare time, Francois enjoys keeping fish, and you might spot some in his office when you visit. His office is also home to several bonsai trees and a 3D printer, reflecting his diverse interests and hobbies.

Sunet plays a pivotal role in Test It LAB, seamlessly integrating human resources and financial planning into her multifaceted responsibilities. She has a background in Commercial Administration and a natural talent for bringing order to chaos. Her ability to foster collaboration, navigate challenges and anticipate risks makes her an invaluable asset to our tribe.

Outside of work, Sunet’s accomplishments extend to the athletic field, where she has excelled in shotput, discus, and high-jump. In addition to her professional pursuits, she harbours a personal aspiration of acquiring a Code 14 driver’s license.

Nthuseng brings an innovative and methodical approach to her work, backed by a BTech in Environmental Health from the Central University of Technology. She is advancing her expertise with a Master’s in water quality management, reflecting her passion for water and research.

At Test It LAB, Nthuseng is the friendly client relations specialist and the first smile you see upon arrival. Outside of work, she cherishes time with her family, meditates, reads, and listens to music.

Pelonomi, from Kgomotso Village, Taung in North West province, holds a B-Tech in Environmental Health from the Central University of Technology Free State. She is both a Lab analyst and the Health and Safety officer, appreciated for her calm and logical thinking.

A passionate cook and baker, she enjoys creating dishes with her family, believing food is best enjoyed together. Her warm personality and kind demeanor make her the voice of reason in the team.

Liako holds a B.Tech in Environmental Health from the Central University of Technology, Free State. She brings two years of experience as an environmental practitioner at a health facility with emphasis on water quality assessment. Liako’s expertise and dedication to environmental health make her a valuable addition to our team.

Outside of work, Liako is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling, which complements her professional focus on environmental stewardship.

Ryzir is our delightful Chief Welcoming Officer at Test It LAB. As the first to greet visitors, he ensures a warm and friendly welcome to everyone who enters our doors.

In addition to his greeting duties, Ryzir enjoys playing fetch with his tennis ball or any of his many toys, all of which he knows by name. His joyful presence adds a special touch to our lab, making it a pleasant place for both staff and visitors.
